JAMES Rowe enjoyed the perfect start to life in charge at Chesterfield after seeing his side come from behind to earn maximum points at Weymouth.
The new manager stopped the rot of four successive defeats while striker Akwasi Asante, who followed him to the Technique Stadium from Gloucester City, celebrated his debut with a goal.
Asante’s strike on the stroke of half-time cancelled out Sean Shields’ opener five minutes earlier before the excellent Tom Denton sealed victory with a powerful header on the hour.
