TERRY Brown has stepped down as chairman of Basingstoke Town and paid tribute to supporters saying he was ‘honoured’ to represent their club.
The former Hayes, Aldershot Town and AFC Wimbledon boss first joined the Dragons four years ago as manager before becoming director of football and then chairman in 2018.
Brown, 68, helped a fan group take control of the club and also fought hard when they were kicked out of the Camrose Stadium.
He leaves with the club now playing at the Hampshire FA complex at Winklebury which has been upgrade...
