AN injury-time effort from Southport substitute Jordan Archer, earned his side a share of the spoils in an absorbing match that saw both sides spurn opportunities.
The visitors had taken the lead just after the half-hour mark when Bobby Johnson volleyed home from the edge of the area after the Southport defence had only partially cleared a high ball into the box.
Both sides struggled early on to create openings, with the rare efforts on goal coming from the home side’s Connor Woods and the visitors’ Nick Walker.
