JAKE SLAMS BRAKES ON HEED WITH STAR SHOW

KEEPER Jake Weaver’s outstanding display paved the way for Leamington to leave Gateshead cursing their luck.
Sub Junior English’s late equaliser plundered a point that Paul Holleran called “smash and grab”.
The Heed dominated the first half and Brakes were indebted to Weaver for a string of fine saves to keep them in touch, his first coming on eight minutes when he adjusted well to push the ball behind as Jack Hunter’s shot was deflected on goal.
