WORTHING United gained sweet revenge for their Vase first round 3-0 home defeat by Edgware Town just five weeks ago – by knocking them out 3-1 in a restaged tie.
The FA had ordered the October 31 game to be replayed after an inquiry found that Edgware had fielded an ineligible player.
Given a second chance Worthing made no mistake again – opening the scoring after 10 minutes when James Thurgar headed home.
Joe Patching added a second and Billy White made it three before Zack Uribarri grabbed a consolation goal.
