■IN the only game in the league to take place yesterday, Quorn crushed visitors Desborough Town 9-1 – but there was nobody inside Farley Way Stadium to cheer.

Clubs finding themselves in Tier 3 and exercising the choice given by the league management not to play without crowds, coupled with bad weather, left only one fixture intact.
A Quorn statement read: “We will continue to play any fixtures given to us by our league.
“We personally feel in a position to provide a safe environment for all players and club officials.”
