PILGRIMS IN MISERY AT REPLAY

BOSTON UNITED say they are “disappointed” at the decision of the National League board forcing them to replay their abandoned game at Darlington last month.
The National League North game between the two sides was called off on 87 minutes as Darlo defender Nicky Hunt awaited treatment. Boston were leading 2-0 at the time.
A statement read: “United are disappointed with the outcome and did consider an appeal, but given the detailed submissions already made, it was felt the decision would not be overturned. The game will be replayed at Blackwell Meadows on February 16.
