SWINDON-BORN Tom Smith hit an inspired double to help Bath City knock Swindon Supermarine out at a sodden Twerton Park.
The Romans turned on the style after the break having been well-matched by Lee Spalding’s Southern League outfit in the opening 45.
Smith’s free-kick and drilled finish put them in the ascendancy, before Tommy Conway’s penalty gave City further breathing space.
Tom Richards wrapped up the win with six minutes left as the match concluded in monsoon-like conditions.
