IT’S A GREENS LIGHT

GORLESTON’S Emerald Park home is to be torn down to make way for 97 new homes.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council have given light for the development, which will see the Eastern Counties Premier Division club develop a new facility at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.
The Greens have occupied Emerald Park since moving from their former recreation ground home in 1983.
Planning officer Gordon Sutherland said that the developer will give £400,000 towards the club’s new fully-lit artificial 3G pitch at the college.
