HARTLEPOOL United overturned the formbook to record a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Stockport County on Tuesday night in a match which saw the Hatters reduced to nine men.
Dave Challinor’s men had won just twice in their previous 11 matches, while Stockport had won six from their last seven.
But it was Pools who prevailed, climbing to fifth in the National League with this comprehensive victory
Rhys Oates powered home the opener on just six minutes before Stockport had Ash Palmer sent off for a high challenge ion Luke Armstrong.
