PAUL HOLLERAN says Leamington’s FA Trophy win over Wrexham had all the hallmarks of what their season has been about - and the Brakes boss has got some gems in his side again.
Goalkeeper Jake Weaver saved twice in a penalty shoot-out against the 2013 Trophy winners to book a place in the fourth round where they will play league rivals Kettering Town.
It was one of the finest days in club history and boss Holleran, who saw his side extend their unbeaten run to 11 games in the process, says it encapsulated the spirit they have in the dressing room.
