Merge the season into a calendar year

IN LIGHT of the latest lockdown, I believe the sensible solution is to conclude the Step 3-7 season within the 2021 ‘calendar’ year – restarting in March to mid-2021 and then again from August to November or December after a break. This will then enable completion and fairly settle promotions/relegation issues for the 2022/23 season without. Then, from January 2022 to the end of April/ May 2022, clubs will play all rounds of the FA Trophy, Vase, League and County Cups.
