’Project Non-League’ looks to gain momentum

A PLAN to abandon the rest of the campaign and combine the results from the last two seasons to decide promotion has been gathering support.
Project Non-League is the brainchild of Jersey Bulls director Ian Horsell who suggests that if this season is cancelled like the last one, then a pointsper- game method should be introduced to calculate final league positions with promotion awarded to the teams with the best record.
He posted his proposal online in advance of the FA sending its survey questionnaire this week and, up until yesterday, 35 clubs have indicated their support.
