WELLING United have turned to Football League stalwart Steve Lovell as the man to take over from Bradley Quinton as manager.
Quinton was sacked just hours after Tuesday night’s 2-0 home defeat to St Albans City – a result which left the Wings bottom of National Leaue South with just one win from their first 11 matches.
Lovell, 60, made over 500 Football League appearances for the likes of Crystal Palace; Millwall and Gillingham before moving into management.
