Is feigning injury in the true spirit?

LAST Tuesday night, in their game against Chesterfield, Boreham Wood’s keeper Nathan Ashmore feignted injury and received ‘treatment’ on the pitch while manager Luke Garrard took the opportunity to gather the rest of the team together on the sideline for a tactical team talk, as the game wasn’t going their way.
After the briefing was over, the keeper fully and instantly recovered but, being the goalie, didn’t have to leave the pitch before the game re-started. It’s not the first time that I have seen them use this ploy.
