POOLS IN A FURY AT LATE CALL

FURIOUS Hartlepool United manager Dave Challinor says someone “must be made accountable” for the 11th-hour postponement at Dagenham & Redbridge yesterday which could cost the club as much as £5,000.
Challinor was left bewildered when he arrived at Victoria Road to find the pitch “rock solid and dangerous” just 24 hours after match referee had deemed it playable.
A further inspection took place at around 1.30pm when it was collectively agreed to postpone the game.
