Terry Spillane back in the game with Walthamstow

The former Aveley, Maldon & Tiptree, Thamesmead and Stanway Rovers boss has been with the club since last June but will now take the top job alongside former Leyton Orient, Brentford, Reading and Sutton player John Mackie.

LONG-SERVING manager Terry Spillane is back in football as joint-boss at Walthamstow FC.

Mackie, who has most recently been assistant manager at Potters Bar Town, tweeted: “Delighted to be back in football and East London as joint manager of Walthamstow with Terry, who has great knowledge of Non League and someone who, after the first meet, is on the same page.”
