■ KENDAL pushed in-form Clitheroe all the way, however it was the visitors who stated well after Jake Burrows fired the ball wide, while Oliver Lombard made a save to deny Ross Dent.
However, Kendal opened the scoring after 32 minutes when Yves Zama fired the ball into the bottom-left corner from close range.
Kendal should have gone 2-0 up after 46 minutes after Mambwe Chilufya forced Chris Thompson into a good save, before the visitors equalised soon after when ball into the box from a corner was headed in by Ross Dent.
