MAX CORNHILL’S winning goal helped Bowers appropriately commemorate the passing of club legend Bert Warner.
And the defender’s strike sent Bowers well up the table, with visitors Hosrham replacing them in the bottom two.
Michael Ademiluyi could have given Bowers the lead inside two minutes, but Hornets keeper Sam Howes saved with his legs.
Howes then stopped headers from both Bradley Sach and Callum Leahy, before saving comfortably when Jamie Dicks tried the spectacular.
