■ REGENT were condemned to their sixth straight league defeat this time at the hands of Wingate & Finchley.
Regent forced two good chances inside the first 20 minutes, first Ken Feyi broke the visitors line but was unable to convert through a heavy touch and Marcus Gouldbourne forced a good save from Ben Goode.
In the 21st minute, the visitors broke the deadlock, a fantastic driving run and cross from Alphanso Kennedy was met by a volley at the back post by Ibrahim Meite that flashed into the net.
