I HAVE always followed the playing fortunes of the England C team with great interest.
I believe it is a huge honour for Non-League footballers to have the chance of playing at international level and many have benefitted from showcasing their skills on this platform by enjoying progress into the Football League and even the Premier League.
However, England C haven’t played any matches since losing 2-0 to Estonia’s Under-23’s on June 5, 2019 – not helped, obviously, by the pandemic.
