NON-LEAGUE clubs welcomed bumper Christmas crowds over a busy festive weekend.
Despite the uncertainty of potential new Covid restrictions, fans showed they are comfortable watching games.
From 8,896 watching Stockport County’s Boxing Day clash to a 2,150 sell-out at Marine for their NPL Division One West derby with Bootle, fans flocked to their local clubs.
More than 30,000 attended Northern Premier League games on Tuesday, including 2,279 at FC United, 2,155 at Matlock Town and 1,679 at Clitheroe.
Horsham hosted 1,284 for their Isthmian League Premier fixture with Lewes.
