Rooks stay out of the Rocks’ reach

LEWES held on to take all three points from relegation-threatened East Thurrock and lift themselves up to third.
The Rooks made full use of a strong wind in the first quarter, putting pressure on the East Thurrock back line.
But they didn’t test Rocks keeper Ciaran Gordon-Stern in this period of dominance
However, in the 25th minute, Joe Taylor chipped Gordon-Stern but his effort was cleared off the line.
