■ PONTEFRACT Collieries ground out a battling victory despite being reduced to ten men at the end of the first half when captain Jack Greenhough was sent off.
Pontefract Collieries were on the back of three straight wins heading into the fixture, but they faced a side unbeaten in 12 games.
