■ HISTON and Ilkeston played out a goalless draw, short on goalmouth action at both ends of the pitch.
Ed Rolph had Histon’s best chance of the first half which Ross Durrant in the Ilkeston goal did well to turn away for a corner post. In response, Tommy Williams had a shot which was blocked by Histon keeper Sam Roach.
Ilkeston’s Joe Maguire was shown a red card just before the break for pulling down Marcus Cole when the striker was clear through on goal.
