■ A FIRST-half minute penalty from Rhys Logan claimed the points for Dereham in a tight encounter.
It was a poor spectacle largely devoid of entertainment from two sides struggling for form.
Witham went close in the first minute when Adam Vyse skied a chance from close range. Antoni Bort in the Dereham goal gathered the ball after a good run by Ayo Olukoga in the 18th minute.
Shaun Bammant went close for Dereham in the 32nd minute and shortly afterwards he was fouled by Jimmy Wallace which resulted in Logan’s penalty.
