SCOTT Harrison’s young Woking side edged out rivals Aldershot Town after a nail-biting Academy Cup quarter-final, decided by a tense penalty shootout.
The two teams took to the pitch at the EBB Stadium with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs. An even first half heightened the tension, with both teams having spells without any real clear chances.
Aldershot struck first just after half time, with miscommunication between the Woking midfield and keeper allowing an easy finish.
But the Shots’ lead would last just ten minutes as Woking scored a goa...
