BISHOP’S Stortford lost ground on leaders Worthing while Margate lost ground on the play-off places, as the sides maintained their recent unbeaten runs but had few other causes for celebration.
Clear-cut chances were few and far between in a tightly fought match where both defences were solid.
But, thanks to other results, Stortford opened up a three-point gap on third-placed Enfield and Margate moved up a place to seventh.
