HORNCHURCH moved up into fourth place when two second-half goals sealed victory in the Surrey countryside and left the struggling Tanners bottom of the table thanks to results elsewhere.
The Urchins had to wait nearly an hour to break the deadlock.
But Sam Higgins produced another supersub display, scoring the Essex outfit’s clinching second goal within five minutes of coming off the bench.
