SARACENS SECURE

THE future of Cheltenham Saracens has been assured after the Hellenic One West outfit were granted a new 25-year lease on their Big Local Stadium home in Petersfield Park.
Cheltenham Borough Council has renewed the lease which Saracens have held on the grounds since 2003, during which time they have carried out significant improvements.
However, further funding is needed to carry out more works and, in order to receive it, Saracans had to show they will be at the ground in the long term.
