JESSE STARKEY was Worthing’s star and key man as his superb 77th-minute strike decided this absorbing Sussex derby between two of the division’s best teams.
The game attracted the division’s biggest crowd of the season and the biggest at Lewes’s Dripping Pan ground in decades.
And Worthing made the big start, as the game took off at a rapid pace.
After Rooks full-back Tom Carlse saw yellow in the second minute, Ollie Pearce and Jake Pattenden brought early saves from Lewes keeper Lewis Carey.
