BISHOP’S Stortford emphatically ended their recent mini-drought in front of goal with a merciless thrashing of relegation-haunted Merstham.
After two goalless draws, Stortford led yesterday, when Frankie Merrifield broke the deadlock on 21 minutes, with a smart turn and volley from six yards, after Billy Cracknell had nodded down Jonny Giles’ freekick.
