■ LONG-TIME Premier North leaders Long Eaton United hammered relegated basement visitors Holbeach United 7-0 thanks to an Alex Marshall hat-trick, strikes from Kameron Campbell, Tom Marshall and Jamie Walker and an own goal by Kane Gilbert.
Second-placed Gresley surrendered their clear advantage over Long Eaton when, just a point behind them with a game in hand, they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Heanor Town. A Kane Lee goal and a Ryan Seal penalty gave them a two-goal lead which was wiped out by a Kyle Daley double.
