■ WALTHAMSTOW received a guard of honour at Hoddesdon but the champions suffered a rare defeat with Terrell Sterling and Harrison Rookard scoring in Hoddesdon’s 2–0 victory.
Saffron Walden Town remain on course for second place after goals from Gavin Cockman and Stanley Leech helped them to a 2–1 victory at Little Oakley, whose goal was scored by Dan Rowe.
Stansted they kept up the pressure with a 2–1 defeat of Southend Manor. Second half goals from Jack Mitchell and Michael Salako were all they needed, while Manor’s response was an own goal.
