■ RUNCORN Linnets netted twice in the opening five minutes and never relinquished as they stunned Leek Town.
The Linnets flew out of the blocks and were 3-0 up by the break as the Leek defence was torn apart Iwan Murray and the division’s top goalscorer Ryan Brooke.
Murray struck within 35 seconds, firing home beyond the reach of Blues keeper Danny Roberts before Brooke made it two after the hosts failed to react to a quickly taken short corner.
