LONG MELFORD are the early league leaders after starting their season in impressive fashion with a 3-1 away win against Fakenham Town on Saturday. Jacob Brown, Hassan Ally and Perry Newman were all on target for the visiting side as they raced into an unassailable 3-0 lead. Fakenham pulled a goal back late on but it proved to be no more than a consolation effort.
