IT’S safe to say Tow Law Town claimed a major scalp when they sent Tadcaster Albion crashing out of the FA Cup this week.
Bridging a one-division gap between the sides, they battled to a 1-1 draw at Albion’s Global Stadium home on Saturday before coming out on top in the home replay with a 2-0 win on Tuesday night.
But, as impressive as they are, those results don’t tell half of the story of the heroics that saw the Northern League Division One side set up a preliminary round home tie against north-east rivals Ashington.
