BROADFIELDS UNITED were indebted to striker Kristian Belousas for their FA Vase first qualifying round victory over Desborough Town.
United were on top for most of the game but the turning point came just before half-time when the Desborough skipper saw red for a last man tackle.
And in stoppage time at the end of the period, Belousas made space for himself and finished neatly.
