IT WAS AN action-packed and topsy-turvey tie at Beech Grove as a thrilling encounter was decided on penalties.
The game had originally been set to be played at Lye but was switched to Ellesmere in the week.
Cameron Davies gave Rangers a first half lead but Lye came racing back through Joe Palmer who continued his fine scoring form with two more after notching in the week in the FA Cup win at Kidsgrove.
