WEST Auckland secured a meeting with Northern League rivals Seaham Red Star in the next round after doubles from Jordan Blinco and Corey Nicholson earned them an impressive win over Crook Town.
Lucas Reed’s second minute free-kick put the hosts ahead but the excellent Blinco levelled nine minutes later from outside the box. Nicholson then cut inside and fired into the top corner to give West a lead they were not to relinquish.
