FC ST HELENS WON 7-6 ON PENS
FC St Helens earned a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory to knock out highly fancied North Ferriby.
The Stripes kept their nerve to triumph 7-6 on spot-kicks after the game finished 1-1.
The North West Counties Division One side will class this as an upset, pulling off a win against a team from a higher division.
In sudden death, Ferriby’s Josh Dennett missing his penalty. Up stepped Saints substitute Steve Ashton to fire the ball past Ferriby keeper Rob Zand to send his side into the next round. ...
