BOSSES DEPART AT STOW

JOINT bosses Terry Spillane and John Mackie have been dismissed at Walthamstow – just four games into their first foray at Step 4.
Spillane, the former Aveley, Maldon & Tiptree, Thamesmead and Stanway Rovers boss led Stow to the Essex Senior League title last season alongside Mackie, the former Leyton Orient, Brentford, Reading and Sutton player.
But despite winning two of their opening four matches in Southern League Division One Central – and being just three points off the top – the pair were ousted from the Wadham Lodge hotseat.
