CANVEY secured victory over struggling Corinthian Casuals with two goals in the first 20 minutes proving crucial at The Moviestarr Stadium.
Gulls took the lead after 10 minutes.
Bradley Sach latched onto an excellent through ball and expertly chipped his shot over the advancing Casuals keeper Ed Allan from just outside the area.
On 19 minutes, Gulls doubled their lead when Evans Kouassi got on the end of a fine left-wing cross by Danny Parish and squeezed his header past Allan at the far post.
