Welsh penning Bury folklore

PROUD Andy Welsh says his Bury AFC side are making memories after their dream maiden FA Cup run continued.
The phoenix club, playing in the competition for the first time, earned themselves a lucrative home tie with National League York City after seeing off Clitheroe 2-0 in Wednesday night’s replay in front of a crowd of over 1,100 at gthe Neuven Stadium.
Goals either side of half-time from Ben Wharton (penalty) and Lewis Gilboy proved enough for the North West Counties Premier League side as they shook off their higher-ranked NPL West opponents.
