CRANE HAS MIXED DAY AS ROCKS EDGE BAY

TEN-MAN Bognor ground out a narrow victory against Herne Bay thanks to goals from James Crane and a Nathan Odokonyero penalty.
But it was a contrasting afternoon for Crane, whose 24th-minute goal was sandwiched by yellow cards on two and 37 minutes, both incidents involving The Bay’s Tushaun Walters.
The first caution was for hitting the ball into Walters, who was on the floor. The second was for a trip as Walters cut inside him.
