TOM BEERE’S first-half penalty gave Carshalton Athletic their second home 1-0 league win in five days as they overcame managerless, currently homeless bottom club Corinthian Casuals in this Surrey derby at Colston Avenue.
It could all have been so much more comfortable though for the Robins as they failed to convert a number of chances.
