MID-TABLE Margate extended their unbeaten league run to three matches with two goals on the rebound against Canvey Island.
And they did so after both sides were reduced to ten men within seven early second-half minutes, which also included a touchline dismissal.
Gate had the best chances in a scoreless first half, but Korrey Henry and Ben Greenhalgh headers were both easily saved by Gulls keeper Bobby Mason.
