POPE’S LOB LIFTS UNITED ON ROAD TO NEXT ROUND

GOALS from Ben Pope, Alex Brefo and Chinedu McKenzie secured a win over Burgess Hill Town for Hastings United in the FA Trophy.
Pope put Hastings 1-0 up in the 11th minute thanks to a lob over the keeper who was off his line.
In the 28th minute Brefo found space in midfield and with the willing of the crowd produced a strike from 35 yards out into the top corner.
Burgess Hill Town found a goal from a corner in the 36th minute thanks to Dan Perry.
