WALTON and Hersham got back to winning ways in style against a lacklustre Ashford side.
Knocking the ball around confidently and looking to hit the diagonals whenever they could, they broke the deadlock through Eddie Simon and doubled their lead on the half-hour, Simon netting his second.
The third came after 53 minutes when John Gilbert slotted home and Walton’s superior possession was rewarded with two further goals late on.
