Barnet 1-1 Chelmsford City: Ruff hands reward to Robbie’s battlers

A header in time added on by Charlie Ruff gave Chelmsford an equaliser to take to tie to a replay after Ben Wynter had given the Bees a lead early in the second half.

A HEADER in time added on by Charlie Ruff gave Chelmsford an equaliser to take to tie to a replay after Ben Wynter had given the Bees a lead early in the second half.
Thanks to his heroics in the visitors’ goal by Ovie Ejeheri, the battling Clarets were never out of this tie – even if they did leave it to the dying moments.
With three minutes of stoppage time having been played, a pinpoint delivery from a corner by Tom Blackwell caused confusion in the Barnet defence with Ruff on hand to stoop and head the ball home.
